Becoming a Relationship Therapist
As human beings, we are hardwired for connection. We navigate this world meeting different souls at multi-levels. Despite our innate yearning for connection, we were not given a handbook on how to successfully navigate relationships. Even in the best possible relationships, you are going to get hurt sometimes and no matter how much you love someone, you will at times also hurt that person. Not because you want to but because we are human.
The great news is that there is room for repair, beautiful growth, and love. Let's explore that handbook together.
Counseling Philosophy
I am passionate about helping others. I believe that therapy is an existential experience of self-understanding, exploration, and growth. I want you to come into this place knowing this is your safe space, a space for you to be your authentic self, without fear of judgment.
I find it helpful to identify our experiences from our formative years because they often provide insight into our maladaptive core beliefs, or lies we've been telling ourselves. These beliefs keep us stuck, yet as adults, we have the power to adopt new and redefined beliefs that will aid us in stepping into a life of fulfillment and joy.
Counseling Style and Strengths
My counseling style is non-judgmental, compassionate, and warm. I want to meet you where you are. You are the expert in your life and I am here to support you and help you explore what is getting in the way of you living out your fullest potential. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on this path of healing.

Professional Counseling Background
I have experience serving adults of all ages in the context of eating disorders, mood disorders, and personality disorders from an intensive outpatient program. Additionally, I have experience working with children, adolescents, and families who struggled with issues related to family dynamics, traumatic experiences, and interpersonal relationships.
Lastly, I have combined my clinical training and my Mexican culture to provide services in Spanish if desired.
