Sara Focht
Becoming a Relationship Therapist
My heart has always been drawn towards helping others and through the field of therapy I was able to find the perfect fit.
I am grateful for the opportunity to share in the experiences of others and support them through difficult times, while celebrating their successes.
I am constantly exploring and growing within this field and am excited to bring the tools that I have learned into your life and relationships.
Counseling Philosophy
I commit to holding a safe space for you to build on your strengths and overcome barriers. I believe in harnessing your strengths and resiliency to help you reach your unique goals. I am here to help you navigate issues, build upon what is working, and offer tools to help you move forward. You are the expert on yourself and your relationships
My Counseling Style and Strengths
The atmosphere I strive to create is one of collaboration, validation, and learning. I will walk alongside you in this journey and offer a compassionate nudge forward to support you in the goals you set out to achieve.
Our sessions will allow you to experience genuine empathy in a non-judgmental environment. We will work together to help you thrive.
Professional Counseling Background
Since 2018 I worked in an outpatient setting, which offered me the opportunity to build my strengths with individuals, families, and groups. I learned to manage crisis and address an array of mental health struggles, such as depression, anxiety, and trauma.
